At the meeting, the two sides shared policies and development strategies on digital infrastructure and digital economy, initiatives to promote the deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) applications, deploy 5G networks according to OpenRAN standards, data management, ensure information security and safety, prevent fake news, toxic news, develop digital human resources and digital skills to build a digital society.

Overview of the working session
Bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and Japan in the field of information and communications has been continuously expanded in recent years, with many programs and projects on post, telecommunications, information security, and ICT industry. To further promote cooperation activities, contributing to strengthening the "Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity in Asia and the World", the two Ministers signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) on information and communications cooperation, focusing on expanding cooperation in post and ICT between agencies, organizations, and businesses of both sides./.
