Comrade Nguyen Duc Tan, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee on social housing development, elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Tan Phu Dong district chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, the communes reported that the district still has a total of 32 houses that are eligible and ineligible for new construction and repair that need support in 2025, including: Tan Thoi 5 houses, Tan Phu 9 houses, Tan Thanh 4 houses, Phu Thanh 8 houses, Phu Dong 4 houses and Phu Tan 2 houses.

Of which, houses that meet the conditions for poor and near-poor households, land use right certificates, residential land certificates, etc. will be granted construction funding in 2025. The remaining houses that do not meet the prescribed conditions were explained by the Chairmen of the People's Committees of the communes at the meeting with many objective and subjective reasons.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Duc Tan requested the District Department of Agriculture and Environment to monitor the progress of the groundbreaking, construction and handover of houses. The Department of Internal Affairs will monitor and grasp the remaining temporary and dilapidated houses that need support in 2025.

The People's Committees of communes coordinate with the Fatherland Front of the commune to propagate and mobilize households to clearly understand the purpose and meaning of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, contributing to the completion of the Program on social housing development, eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses of the district by the end of 2025 according to the set plan.
