Courses in the advanced training program, including foundational courses (taught in a foreign language), specialized courses, internships, and graduation theses, have higher tuition fees, projected at 1,140,000 VND/credit (for Italian Language) and 1,400,000 VND/credit (for English and Chinese Language).
The school's tuition fees are adjusted annually, by no more than 15% each year.
In 2024, Hanoi University will recruit 3,225 students for 27 training majors using 3 groups of admission methods:
- Direct admission and priority admission will be conducted according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- Admission is based on a combination of criteria as stipulated by Hanoi University.
- Admission will be based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam.

According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, after candidates complete registration and payment of their university admission preferences for 2024, the Ministry's admission system will conduct a virtual filtering process to determine the admission results from August 13th to 5 PM on August 17th.
After the virtual filtering process is complete, universities will begin announcing the cutoff scores and admission results. By 5 PM on August 19th at the latest, universities and colleges must complete the announcement of cutoff scores and results for the first round of university admissions in 2024.
