In the midst of the historic April days, the whole country turned towards the golden milestone of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 Le Hoang Phuong took a photo series with a proud spirit at the War Remnants Museum, Ho Chi Minh City.
In a pure white ao dai, with a checkered scarf and a red flag with a yellow star in hand, she wanted to send a profound message about patriotism, national pride and respect for peace from the young generation.
The War Remnants Museum is a place that preserves traces of the "fiery" time of our ancestors' generation. Therefore, Le Hoang Phuong shared the reason why she chose the white ao dai - a symbol of the elegant and pure beauty of Vietnamese women, along with a simple checkered scarf, imbued with the soul of the countryside, as a connection between the past and the present when coming here.
“April 30, the day the country was reunited, the country blossomed in the song of freedom. Proud to be born in the midst of peaceful springs, Hoang Phuong always remembers the silent sacrifices of his ancestors and will always strive every day, living up to the unfinished dreams, with the hopes entrusted from a time of war. The Fatherland is in the heart, love in every breath,” Le Hoang Phuong emotionally shared.
Le Hoang Phuong’s white ao dai photos at the War Remnants Museum are not only a beautiful moment, but also a profound expression of gratitude. In these historic April days, the image becomes even more meaningful, arousing pride in a resilient, indomitable Vietnam that always looks forward to a peaceful, independent future.
Through the photo series, the beauty hopes to contribute to spreading patriotism and national pride in the community, especially the young generation.
