These were the first time both teams had qualified for the final round of the Student Sports Tournament, with the Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism team participating for the first time but being highly regarded.

I encouraged my players that since we've reached the semi-finals, we should give the audience a really good match, respecting our opponents, and aiming to win a place in the final," Coach Thanh shared.

The Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry team will be missing two key players due to suspensions: midfielder Phuc Tai and right-back Van Quoc. "Among the four teams in the semi-finals, we are the only one without a sporting background. Therefore, we are at a disadvantage in terms of physical condition and fitness. However, the players have prepared thoroughly for the semi-final match and will play to the best of their abilities and utilize their collective strength," coach Ta Hong Ha revealed.
The second semi-final, taking place at 5:45 PM, is a tense battle between the Da Nang University of Physical Education and Sports team and the Hanoi University of Physical Education and Sports team. The strength of the Hanoi team was evident in their unbeaten run in the group stage. In the quarter-finals, Coach Pham Minh's players employed a tight, aggressive style of play, with excellent teamwork and effective finishing to defeat the Van Hien University team. Currently leading the top scorer list with 5 goals, Vu Viet Hoang, with his exceptional goal-scoring ability, promises to continue shining.
Meanwhile, after a thrilling victory against the home team, Ton Duc Thang University, in the quarterfinals (3-3 draw in regular time, 5-4 win in the penalty shootout), coach Tran Trung Kien of the Da Nang University of Physical Education and Sports team reminded his players to minimize mistakes. "The Hanoi University of Physical Education and Sports team is strong in all three lines, and their players have good tactical and technical thinking. We will try to maximize our abilities and hope to counter the opponent's playing style to achieve our goal," said Coach Kien.
