2025 is the year to celebrate many important national holidays and is also a milestone that brings the country into a new era. Contributing to the country's symphony and with the spirit of being ready to accompany the country into the era of national development, on the evening of March 15, the program "Cultural Festival - Firmly entering the new era" was held at My Dinh National Stadium (Hanoi).
"Cultural Festival - Firmly Stepping into a New Era" is divided into three chapters with the participation of thousands of professional and amateur artists. Titled "Sacred Fire of the Dragon and the Dragon", the program features a sacred torch procession from Hung Temple to My Dinh National Stadium. This is followed by live performances by thousands of actors honoring the national culture, the origin of the Dragon and the Fairy. The traditional musical materials of drums, flutes, two-stringed fiddles, and gongs of the Central Highlands are combined with modern electronic music to create a majestic atmosphere, pride, and national unity in each performance. The performances are all staged grandly with a 6,000 m2 projection screen and 3D mapping effects.

In particular, along with 15,000 people participating in the flag-raising ceremony and singing the National Anthem, there were also special guests, the son and eldest grandson of the late musician Van Cao, the author of the song. Painter Van Thao - the son of musician Van Cao, said that he had listened to the National Anthem thousands of times but each time he felt moved, as if he had been given more national pride. The National Anthem has accompanied the red flag with a yellow star through every period of the country's history.

"I am touched and proud to be invited to participate in a large-scale event with 15,000 people singing the National Anthem. It really touches my heart. I have to thank my father, who created the sacred song of the mountains and rivers that makes all Vietnamese people proud. This is the first time my son, grandson and I have sung the National Anthem together. I have watched many programs with many people singing the National Anthem everywhere and secretly wished that if I could participate, I would be very happy. This time my wish has been fulfilled," said Painter Van Thao.
Van Giang, the eldest grandson of musician Van Cao, said that he and his father and other family members had the opportunity to perform “Tien Quan Ca” as an art work, not as the national anthem under the national flag. A few days ago, he was excited because he knew that the event would be included in the Guinness Book of Records and that he had the honor of being one of the people who created that record. Van Giang brought his children, great-grandchildren of Van Cao, to the event so that all three generations of the family could have the opportunity to participate in this special event.
