Building upon the achievements of previous festivals, the highlight of the Hue Festival 2024 is the Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024, themed "Cultural Heritage with Integration and Development," taking place from June 7-12, 2024. The "Opening Ceremony," featuring a street performance before the opening at Ngo Mon Square, will be a welcoming activity to kick off the festival week. The arts program will be a vibrant night of sound and light, showcasing creativity based on the core values of the nation's and humanity's cultural heritage. The program will be made even more dazzling and radiant by the support of modern technology such as laser projection, LED Matrix, Hologram, and 3D Mapping. Performances on stage will portray Hue as a city "Shining with Heritage," developing sustainably, respecting nature, being friendly and peaceful; and celebrating the "Magical Ancient Capital." A place with a rich tradition of "converging sounds" from regions both within and outside the country; honoring a sustainably developing city with the aspiration of "shining brightly for generations to come".
