From April 25 to 28, Bao Lam District People's Committee organized a study tour for a delegation of prestigious ethnic minority people in Nguyen Binh, Thach An, Quang Hoa districts and Cao Bang city.
Delegation of prestigious people of Bao Lam district offered incense at the memorial site of comrade Hoang Dinh Giong.
Within the framework of the program, the delegation visited and worked with the Ethnic Minorities Committee of Cao Bang province and leaders of the districts, proposing many practical recommendations to continue supporting the development of ethnic minority areas, especially border areas such as: improving transport infrastructure, telecommunications in remote areas; creating sustainable jobs; supporting livelihood development and stabilizing output for local agricultural products. In addition, the delegation also visited models of preserving and developing traditional craft villages such as Phia Thap incense village, Phuc Sen blacksmith village (Quang Hoa district).
On this occasion, the delegation offered incense and commemorated at historical sites such as Hoang Dinh Giong relic site, Tran Hung Dao forest, 1950 Border Campaign relic site... Through these activities, delegates learned valuable experiences in implementing national target programs on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, preserving and promoting national cultural identity; at the same time, enhancing the role and responsibility of prestigious people in propaganda and mass mobilization work.
