On the afternoon of August 7, the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee held a conference to implement the decision of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on personnel work. Mr. Lu Van Hung, Secretary of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee chaired the conference.

At the conference, Mr. Ho Thanh Thuy, Head of the Organizing Committee of Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee, announced the decisions of the Standing Committee of Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee on the transfer and appointment of many key officials.

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee decided to transfer and assign Ms. Doan Ut Bay, to cease holding the position of Director of the Provincial Radio and Television Station, to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission until retirement age. Transfer and appoint Mr. Pham Minh Luyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hoa Binh District Party Committee, to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, for a term of 5 years. Decided to transfer and assign Ms. Do Ai Lam, to cease holding the position of Vice Chairwoman of the Bac Lieu City People's Committee, to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Decided to transfer and assign Mr. Huynh Cong Cuoc, Head of the Department of Political Theory and Party History, Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, to hold the position of Deputy Chief of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council. Decided to transfer and assign Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Duy, Secretary of the Hong Dan District Youth Union, to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Bac Lieu Provincial Youth Union.

Speaking to congratulate the transferred and appointed cadres, Mr. Lu Van Hung, Secretary of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee, said that the transfer, rotation and appointment of cadres is one of the extremely important and regular tasks of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee. When cadres are arranged, transferred and rotated through many working positions, it is the basis for training and practicing cadres in a more comprehensive manner, meeting the requirements of performing the province's political tasks in the new period, especially preparing personnel for Party Congresses at all levels. For the cadres transferred, appointed and rotated this time, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee has considered and examined the capacity, qualities, ethics and ideology of each person to be able to undertake the newly assigned tasks. Therefore, the Secretary of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee requested the cadres to continue to make efforts, strive, approach new jobs early, always practice, maintain revolutionary qualities, and play the exemplary role of a Party member.
