TPO - The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has decided to appoint Mr. Trinh Linh Phuong, Head of the Steering Committee of Road 1 Project, Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, to hold the position of Deputy Director of this board.
On the afternoon of August 5, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Bui Xuan Cuong chaired the ceremony to award decisions to officials.
At the ceremony, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Home Affairs Nguyen Thi Hong Tham announced the decision of the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to appoint Mr. Trinh Linh Phuong, Head of the Steering Committee of Road 1 Project, Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (Traffic Board), to hold the position of Deputy Director of this board. The term of office is 5 years.
Mr. Trinh Linh Phuong was born in 1971, hometown Tien Giang province. He has a Master's degree in Traffic Engineering, Road and Bridge Construction Engineering, and a Senior Degree in Political Theory.

In his congratulatory speech and assignment, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Bui Xuan Cuong acknowledged that Mr. Trinh Linh Phuong is an officer with a lot of practical experience in the transportation industry, with expertise, specialization and standards suitable for the new responsibility.
Mr. Cuong acknowledged that in the coming time, the workload in the area will be very heavy, especially since August 2, the Prime Minister approved the investment policy to build the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai expressway and the upcoming tasks surrounding major planning as well as major traffic projects that the city will implement (Can Gio bridge, Thu Thiem 4 bridge, Ring Road 4...).
Ho Chi Minh City leaders hope that Mr. Phuong will continue to promote his capacity, experience and strengths over the past years, especially during his work at the Traffic Department, demonstrating new thinking and management methods in implementing projects to contribute to speeding up progress, faster disbursement and especially ensuring the quality of the city's key projects.
Receiving the assignment, Mr. Trinh Linh Phuong thanked the city leaders, departments, agencies and units for their trust and confidence in assigning him the new tasks and responsibilities. Mr. Phuong promised to promote his own capacity and unite with the Traffic Department to complete the assigned tasks.
