On August 1, Mr. Ngo Van Cuong - Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee of the Youth Union - attended and presented the decision of the Central Secretariat of the Youth Union on personnel work.

At the ceremony, the representative of the Central Youth Union Organizing Committee announced the decision of the Central Secretariat of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to recognize Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy as Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, term XVIII, 2022-2027.

Also at the ceremony, the representative of the Organizing Committee of the Party Committee of the Agencies Bloc of Nghe An province announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Bloc on approving Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Youth Union of Nghe An province - to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Youth Union for the 2020-2025 term.

In his speech assigning the task, Mr. Ngo Van Cuong - Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union - said that Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy is a well-trained, enthusiastic cadre who has made many contributions to the Union and youth movements; has professional qualifications suitable for the assigned work and has experience working in a number of positions.

Emphasizing that this is an honor and pride for Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy, Mr. Cuong hopes that Ms. Thuy will continue to make more efforts and contribute more, promote her personal role, and work with the Provincial Youth Union to complete the assigned tasks.

In her acceptance speech, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy promised to continuously train and cultivate political qualities, ethics, lifestyle, improve professional qualifications, leadership and management skills to increasingly improve herself.

Together with the leadership of the Provincial Youth Union, we continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, collaboration, joint efforts, and unanimity, and promote good results to enhance the position and role of the Youth Union organization, in order to meet the requirements and tasks in the new period.

Previously, at the Conference to elect the additional position of Secretary of the 18th Provincial Youth Union, term 2022-2027 of the Executive Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy - Standing Deputy Secretary in charge of the Provincial Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Youth Union of Nghe An province - was elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union with an absolute number of votes.

Ms. Thuy was elected as additional Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union to replace Mr. Le Van Luong, who was previously transferred by Nghe An Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Secretary of Tuong Duong District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
