According to the report, the incident occurred at around 9:30 a.m. the same day at the Primary, Secondary and High School for Pedagogical Practice, Vinh University. A railing frame from the 4th floor of building A6 of the school fell to the yard, hitting 3 female students standing below. The 3 injured female students were all in class 9B of the school.

After the incident, the school promptly took the students to the hospital for emergency treatment. The most seriously injured student is being monitored for a head injury, while the other two students suffered less serious injuries.

The school has quickly coordinated with authorities to promptly verify and clarify the incident.

According to the victims’ relatives, by the afternoon of April 14, one student had been discharged from the hospital. Another student is being treated for an open head wound at Vinh General Hospital. The most seriously injured student, who suffered a traumatic brain injury, underwent surgery and is currently being monitored at Nghe An General Hospital.
