Stock prices surged, VN-Index rose more than 9 points.

On the HoSE exchange, the trading value in this session decreased sharply compared to the previous session, reaching over 15,654.72 billion VND.

Foreign investors made net purchases of 743 billion VND. On the buying side, VNM was the most bought stock (300 billion VND), followed by MSN (61 billion VND), DGC (59 billion VND), etc. Conversely, VIX was the most heavily sold stock (44 billion VND), followed by VHM (40 billion VND), DXG (35 billion VND), etc.

Today's trading session saw 22 stocks in the VN30 index rise, 2 remain unchanged, and 6 fall.

Specifically, POW increased 4.94% to VND 13,800/share, PLX increased 4.86% to VND 47,500/share, SSI increased 3.14% to VND 31,250/share, GVR increased 3.03%, SSB increased 2.96%, TCB increased 2.17%, HPG increased 2.06%, BID increased 2.03%,VIB increased 1.93%, MBB increased 1.71%, VNM increased 1.71%, BVH increased 1.64%, BCM increased 1.33%, MWG increased 1.29%, STB increased 1.25%, HDB increased 1.16%, and VPB increased 1.08%.

The following stocks saw slight increases: CTG, MSN, SAB, TPB, and VJC.

Both stocks,ACB and GAS, stopped at the reference price.

Conversely, VCB fell 2.21% to 88,700 VND/share, VRE decreased 1.37%,FPT declined 1.28%, and VHM dropped 1.23%.

The other two stocks, SHB and VIC, saw slight declines.

In terms of sectors, the securities sector was the most active, initially showing widespread declines in the morning but unexpectedly recovering and surging towards the end of the session. Besides SSI mentioned above, three stocks (BSI, CTS, FTS) hit their upper limit, while AGR rose 4.94%, VDS 4.63%, VIX 3.14%, VCI 3.09%, TVS 2.3%, VND 1.67%, ORS 1.59%, HCM 1.24%, TVB 0.59%, and APG remained unchanged.

Following yesterday's sharp decline, several steel stocks recovered, including VCA (up 5.22%), HSG (up 2.88%), NKG (up 2.83%), and HPG (up 2.06%). Conversely, POM (down 3.85%), HMC (down 2.1%), SMC (down 0.87%), and TLH (down 0.47%).

The banking sector closed the session with most stocks rising. Besides the VN30 group stocks ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, and VIB mentioned above, the remaining stocks were: EIB up 0.28%, LPB down 1.72%, MSB up 0.35%, and OCB up 1.38%.

Real estate stocks, after yesterday's sharp decline, have recovered, with many stocks experiencing strong gains such as: HAR hitting the ceiling price, CRE up 3.66%, HDG up 2.81%, IJC up 2.9%, KHG up 6.38%, LHG up 3.19%, NTL up 4.61%, NVT up 5.93%, TCH up 3.56%, TDC up 4.76%, VPH up 4.79%,…

* The Vietnamese stock market index recovered and surged strongly at the end of today's session, with the VNXALL-Index closing up 17.70 points (+0.88%) at 2,032.73 points. Total market liquidity reached 644.73 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND 16,452.83 billion. Across the market, 249 stocks increased in price, 73 remained unchanged, and 139 decreased.

* On the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), the HNX-Index closed at 231.56 points, up 2.33 points (+1.02%). Total trading volume reached over 56.48 million units, with a corresponding transaction value of over 1,024.88 billion VND. Across the entire exchange, there were 94 gainers, 53 unchanged stocks, and 71 losers.

The HNX30 index closed up 7.20 points (+1.46%) at 499.99 points. Trading volume reached approximately 35.92 million units, with a corresponding value of over 823.97 billion VND. Among the HNX30 stocks, 19 ended the trading day higher, 6 remained unchanged, and 5 declined.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index rose, closing at 93.77 points, up 0.25 points (+0.27%). Total market liquidity reached over 52.89 million shares traded, with a corresponding trading value of over 659.99 billion VND. Among UPCoM stocks, 163 ended the trading day higher, 119 remained unchanged, and 152 declined.

* On the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed up 9.64 points (+0.79%) at 1,236.60 points. Trading volume reached over 681.79 million units, equivalent to a transaction value of VND 16,186.50 billion. Across the entire exchange, there were 267 gainers, 72 unchanged stocks, and 160 losers.

The VN30 index rose 9.01 points (+0.71%) to 1,281.01 points. Trading volume reached over 258.29 million units, equivalent to a transaction value of VND 8,394.11 billion. At the end of the trading day, 22 VN30 stocks increased, 2 remained unchanged, and 6 decreased.

The five stocks with the highest trading volume were VIX (over 24.81 million units), SHB (over 24.43 million units), MBB (over 23.76 million units), HPG (over 17.54 million units), and SSI (over 15.34 million units).

The five stocks with the highest price increases were PGI (6.96%), BSI (6.95%), KSB (6.94%), CTS (6.93%), and FTS (6.93%).

The five stocks with the biggest price drops were HRC (-6.97%), HBC (-6.93%), SRC (-6.91%), LDG (-6.63%), and GMC (-6.63%).

* Today's derivatives market saw 272,305 contracts traded, with a value of VND 34,474.75 billion.
