The patient, who was conscious, suddenly suffered cardiac arrest during an ultrasound examination; the doctor reacted quickly!

Upon arrival at the center, the patient was examined by doctors from the Emergency, Intensive Care, and Toxicology departments in the following condition: Conscious, experiencing chest pain and a feeling of pressure; chest pain of unknown origin; suspected myocardial infarction. The patient was immediately ordered to undergo necessary emergency diagnostic tests.

During the examination, while the doctor was performing an ultrasound in the emergency ultrasound room, they suddenly discovered that the patient had suffered cardiac arrest.

The medical staff immediately called for backup, performed chest compressions, and quickly transferred the patient to the Emergency, Intensive Care, and Toxicology Unit.

In the ward, the patient received continued resuscitation from doctors and nurses to manage cardiac arrest, control the airway, perform defibrillation, and administer medications to stop ventricular fibrillation and vasopressors.

After 20 minutes of resuscitation, the patient's heart started beating again. Doctors continued to maintain vasopressors, ensure respiration, and transferred the patient to Phu Tho Provincial General Hospital for further treatment.

According to information received from Phu Tho Provincial General Hospital, the patient was diagnosed with: Post-cardiac arrest/Acute myocardial infarction. The patient received hypothermia, hemodialysis, and vascular intervention.

Currently, the patient's health is improving: The patient is conscious, the endotracheal tube has been removed, and they are continuing medical treatment at the Cardiology Department of Phu Tho Provincial General Hospital.
