To express their gratitude to the previous generation and their deep love for the country, many young people took photos with the national flag on the occasion of National Day, September 2. Each photo is not only a simple memory but also a reminder for the young generation of Vietnam to live, study and work in a worthy way.
Students of Hai Phong University together prepared hundreds of national flags and party flags to create colorful flower flags in the school campus.
As the person who proposed this idea, Do Nguyen Hai Yen (Class of Literature Pedagogy K22, Faculty of Literature and Social Sciences) said she was very happy when not only did students in the school respond, but many other students also wanted to take photos to celebrate September 2.
“For us, this is a small activity but through it we can express our great love for the nation. Looking towards the national flag, we are very emotional and proud to be Vietnamese citizens,” Yen shared.
With the message: "No matter where you are, let's all look towards the national flag with the pride of the Vietnamese people" , a media company in Hanoi decorated the space in front of its office building into a "Flag Alley" with brilliant red colors.
Not only creating a check-in space for many young people, the company also wants to spread the spirit of covering the living space with the national flag so that when passing through a street or house, everyone feels sacred and proud.
Many young people were the first to arrive at Vincom Pham Ngoc Thach (Hanoi) to check-in with the national flag projected on a giant LED screen throughout the September 2nd holiday.
This year, on all streets of the capital, many locations such as Noi Bai Airport, VPBank Tower, Vincom Center Metropolis, Rox Tower all simultaneously displayed images of the National Flag so that people could take beautiful pictures on the happy day of the country.
Not only on September 2nd, but also on every important occasion of the country, two young people Khong Phuong Mai and Chu Phuong Dang spend time taking pictures and recording footage under the national flag.
The two of you always keep in mind: "If pride has a color, it is the color of the red flag with a yellow star" . That pride becomes a precious source of motivation for the two of you to devote your youth to the Fatherland, constantly striving to improve no matter what job you do or in any circumstance.
The small family of Man Tien and Vo Trung made a unique photo series when they transformed into students wearing red scarves on their shoulders and holding the national flag in their hands, filled with love and pride.
Nguyen Van Duc (born 2001, Hanoi) was impressed with the photo taken by his colleague while visiting the national flag sewing and embroidery village in Hung Yen.
“This hastily taken photo may not be as beautiful as many others, but it is very meaningful to me. No matter the angle, when I am in the same frame with the red flag with yellow star, I feel proud,” Duc said, adding that every time he looks at the photo, he remembers the hard work of the artisans who made the flag. It takes many meticulous steps for the national flag to reach the hands of every Vietnamese person.
In response to the 79th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day on September 2, Nguyen Phuc Duc - a one-armed male student in Thai Nguyen came up with the idea of arranging blood donation certificates accumulated over the past 10 years to create a national flag.
“The red of the national flag is the color of the blood shed by our ancestors, the color of revolution. It is a coincidence and meaningful that the work was created from the certificates when I donated blood,” Duc proudly said.
The children were photographed by their parents next to the national flag. Each photograph was a different situation and mood, but they all had in common the spirit of patriotism, wholeheartedly looking towards the sacred national flag.
