Broadcast live on VTV1 - Vietnam Television and rebroadcast on CAND Television, the special art program "The Party in the Great Spring Victory" hosted by the Ministry of Public Security and sponsored by Sun Group, is not only a simple art event but also has profound political and cultural significance, towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam People's Public Security Forces (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025).
The presence of General Secretary To Lam, Party and State leaders, delegates, distinguished guests, especially revolutionary veterans, heroic Vietnamese mothers, heroes of the People's Armed Forces and numerous veterans, highlighted the significance and stature of the program.

Three "golden" voices of revolutionary music reunite: Immortal memories echo
Elaborately staged, the program was like a slow-motion film, taking the audience back in time to the heroic but also arduous and sacrificial years of the nation. With two chapters: "Forever believing in the Party" and "The Great Spring Victory", the music night vividly recreated the courageous, steadfast spirit and great solidarity of the entire nation in the long-term resistance war, determined to liberate the South, to reunite the country - especially the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign and the triumphant song of the general offensive and uprising in the Spring of 1975. The program led the audience's emotions through each immortal melody associated with the historical memories of the nation, both painful and tragic, each lyric and song, sometimes solemn and poignant, sometimes bustling and full of faith.

The most emotional and anticipated highlight of the night was the reunion of the three golden voices, the greats of Vietnamese revolutionary music: People's Artist Thu Hien, People's Artist Trung Duc and People's Artist Quang Tho. Their appearance on the stage of Ho Guom Theater was not only a performance, but also the return of a whole memory associated with the vibrant youth, reviving the sacred emotions of a painful yet heroic historical period of the nation.
When People's Artist Thu Hien sang the first verses of "Cau ho ben bo Hien Luong", the whole audience fell silent. Her voice, despite being over 70 years old, still retains its sweetness and longing, carrying the feelings of separation and the desire for unification of the 21 years the Ben Hai River has endured bombs and bullets. She confided that this song has been with her since its first days in 1957, following her to the battlefield, down to Vinh Moc tunnel: "I used to sing the melodies of "Cau ho ben bo Hien Luong" in a very special context... singing on the riverbank, under the tunnel... the melodies are forever in my heart, never to be forgotten...". Standing on the stage of Ho Guom Theater today, singing that memorable song again on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the country's unification, is an immense happiness and emotion for her.

Although People's Artist Quang Tho is now at a rare age, his once-famous deep and hearty baritone voice still gives the audience "goosebumps" when he brings quiet moments with "The Party gave me bright eyes and a bright heart" and "Love song". Meanwhile, People's Artist Trung Duc's smooth and hearty voice ignites the heroic atmosphere, recreating the image of the legendary Truong Son army through the medley "On the top of Truong Son we sing - The Truong Son stick - Hello, Lam Hong girl" sung with Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi. The lyrics and singing seem to bring the audience back to the seething atmosphere of the years of resistance against the US to save the country.

Not only with the great trees, the stage of "The Party in the Great Spring Victory" is also a place for talented singers of the next generation to shine. Meritorious Artist Dang Duong and Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi continued to affirm their position in the revolutionary music genre with powerful performances through "Ho Chi Minh is the most beautiful name", "The road we go", "We are proud to go up, oh Vietnam". Singer Tung Duong made a strong impression with "Color of red flowers", an epic about sacrifice, which he performed magically, fiercely but also very emotionally. Besides, Le Anh Dung, Dong Hung, Viet Danh, Bao Yen, Meritorious Artist Lan Anh, Meritorious Artist Pham Khanh Ngoc... contributed to creating a colorful musical picture, both heroic and lyrical, demonstrating the strong continuity of revolutionary music.

The songs that have accompanied the years have moved many audiences to tears, recalling a painful but heroic historical memory of the nation, a time of passionate youth, memories of fallen comrades, and boundless happiness when the country was filled with joy.
“It is difficult to describe the overwhelming and emotional feeling when enjoying the art program 'The Party in the Great Spring Victory'. The sophistication, stature and class are shown in every detail of the staging. I was deeply moved when the heroic history of the resistance war against the US to save the country was vividly recreated on stage. Each art performance, each special scene, combined with the emotional voices of generations of artists touched the hearts of the audience" - audience member An Ngoc Tan (Ha Dong district, Hanoi) expressed.
The sublimation of revolutionary music and international symphonies
One of the factors that makes the difference and class of "The Party in the Great Spring Victory" is the accompaniment of the Sun Symphony Orchestra (SSO). The participation of talented domestic and international musicians, under the direction of the famous conductor Olivier Ochanine, has brought an impressive academic music space, elevating classic revolutionary songs.

Familiar melodies such as "Vietnam, spring has come", "The Party is my life", "Ho Chi Minh is the most beautiful name", "Song of hope"... through the new harmony and arrangement of musician Tran Manh Hung and the performance of SSO artists have created a new emotion for songs that have gone down in history.
The majestic sound of the brass band, the soulful sound of the strings, the melodious sound of the percussion... blend with the artists' voices, creating a powerful resonance effect, touching the hearts of the listeners.
This unique combination has brought a real musical feast, both preserving the soul and spirit of the songs that have gone through the years, and creating new and attractive emotions for the audience.

When the heroic melodies of the triumphant song “The Country is Full of Joy” resounded, the entire auditorium of the Ho Guom Theater seemed to burst into emotion. Tears fell, thousands of bright red flags and endless applause blended into the space, creating a brilliant scene of national colors, both touching and sacred. Each audience member’s face reflected surging emotions and intense pride. They stood up, sang along, waved flags, as if their hearts were beating in unison with the rhythm of the country.
That scene, both majestic and sacred, has engraved in each person's mind an indelible mark of the heroic song "The Party in the great spring victory", arousing eternal faith and pride in the heart of every Vietnamese child.
