Along with the above meaningful film series, the Department of Cinema also coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province and other units to organize the "Film Week to Celebrate the 135th Birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025)" from May 12 to 15, 2025 in Nghe An.

The film week is part of a series of activities of the "Sen Village Festival 2025", an opportunity for the public, especially the people of Nghe An - his homeland, to remember and pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh's great contributions to the Vietnamese Revolution.

The films shown not only deeply depict his life, ideology, morality and style, but also contribute to spreading noble humanistic values, encouraging the spirit of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style throughout society.

The Opening Ceremony of the Film Week commemorating the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh will take place solemnly at 7:30 p.m. on May 12, 2025 at Nghe An Folk Song Theater with the feature film “The Moon of Childhood”. The film uses the State budget, is directed by Ho Ngoc Xum, and is produced by Giai Phong Film Joint Stock Company.

Also within the framework of the Film Week, the Department of Cinema will organize an exchange program between artists who played the role of President Ho Chi Minh in film works, artists of the film crew "Vang trang thoi tu", "Dao, pho va piano", the documentary film "Nhung ve tra tim" with officers and soldiers of the 414th Engineering Brigade, Military Region IV on May 13, 2025 and officers, lecturers and students at Vinh University on May 14, 2025.

The Artist Group will visit and offer incense at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House at the Kim Lien Special National Relic Site, visit the historical site of King Quang Trung Temple... The flower offering ceremony at the Uncle Ho statue, Ho Chi Minh Square will take place at 4:00 p.m. on May 12, 2025.

The film campaign is a meaningful cultural activity aimed at widely propagating to the masses, especially the young generation, about the tradition of patriotism, pride, and the spirit of great national solidarity in the cause of national liberation, construction and defense of the Fatherland.

Through cinematographic works, viewers will review the heroic history of the nation, thereby raising awareness and sense of responsibility in the current process of building and developing the country.
