Accordingly, developers can choose to participate in the new beta with Apple Intelligence or directly use the iOS 18/iPadOS 18/macOS Sequoia 15 beta. iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max or iPad, Mac with Apple silicon chip is required to use Apple Intelligence and only these eligible devices will receive the update.

After updating to beta 2, users can enable Apple Intelligence in the Settings app. There is an Apple Intelligence waiting list that developers must opt into, but access will be granted within a few hours.
Some of the Apple Intelligence features currently available include: writing tools, improved Siri, the option to switch between voice commands and typing into Siri, summaries for notes and other content, new Mail categories, and smart replies...
There are also Image Playground features, Genmoji, ChatGPT integration, the option to remove objects in Photos, Priority Notifications, and other Siri capabilities like the ability to do more in apps and be aware of what the user is doing on the screen.
Apple is reportedly planning to release Apple Intelligence in beta form later this fall, but it’s likely to arrive alongside the iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia updates.
