Agribank Dak Lak Province Branch Promotes the role of Party committees in performing political tasks

With the characteristics of a large, key, and dominant bank serving socio-economic development, especially in the agricultural and rural areas, in recent times, the Party Committee of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam, Dak Lak Branch (Agribank, Dak Lak Branch) has focused on leading the successful implementation of assigned political tasks, bringing the bank to safe and sustainable development, effectively contributing to promoting economic growth and ensuring social security of the locality.

With the core task of effectively leading the implementation of political tasks in the fields of currency, credit and banking services in the province, closely following the orientation of the Central Government, the Government and Agribank, the Party Committee of Agribank Dak Lak Branch has directed branches and affiliated party organizations to actively coordinate with local authorities to assess practical needs, thereby determining appropriate financial solutions.

Right from the beginning of 2024, the Party Committee issued a resolution to lead the implementation of the annual plan, focusing on close direction to exceed the set targets, and at the same time issued specialized resolutions on Party building work and political tasks.

Thanks to that, although the socio-economic situation in 2024 faced many difficulties and challenges, with high political determination, the Party Executive Committee, Board of Directors, cadres, party members and employees of Agribank Dak Lak Branch have strived to successfully complete the political tasks assigned by superiors, contributing significantly to the implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term and the good implementation of the National Target Program on new rural construction of the Government.

Specifically: outstanding loans to the economy grew by 9.3% compared to the end of 2023 (exceeding the assigned plan), of which outstanding loans to agriculture and rural areas accounted for 63% of total outstanding loans. Bad debt was lower than the assigned plan, within the allowable range. Other indicators such as mobilized capital, service revenue, debt collection, risk handling, finance and provisioning were all completed compared to the 2024 plan assigned by the head office.

Continuing the achievements of 2024, on January 2, 2025, the Party Committee of Agribank Dak Lak Branch issued Resolution 278-NQ/BCHDB-NHNo.DL on the tasks of 2025, providing comprehensive leadership right from the first quarter of the year.

Accordingly, the key tasks and main solutions for implementing political tasks in 2025 include: continuing to promote the role in providing credit to the "Tam Nong" area; continuing to build the image of Agribank - the leading retail bank in rural areas, making positive contributions to the process of promoting non-cash payments among residents, especially in rural, remote and isolated areas.

Focusing credit on production and business sectors, especially priority sectors according to the Government's policy, creating favorable conditions for businesses and people to access credit capital, contributing to pushing back "black credit".

Continue to promote and play a leading role in investing in agriculture, farmers and rural areas, contributing to economic development and ensuring social security in the province. Pioneer in implementing monetary policy, contributing to economic stability, controlling inflation and supporting local growth.

With the close and drastic leadership of the Party Committee, at the end of the first quarter of 2025, the business plan indicators of Agribank Dak Lak Branch all recorded positive results. Some important indicators such as: mobilized capital increased by 5.9%, outstanding loans increased by 5.1%, bad debt ratio decreased by 26.4% compared to the beginning of the year. The remaining indicators continued to grow steadily, creating a solid foundation for successfully completing the tasks of the whole year.

In addition, the Party Committee has led mass organizations to continue promoting social security, charity, and banking programs and activities for the community. Agribank Dak Lak Branch has accompanied the local government in implementing activities to build houses of gratitude, care for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; support the elderly, the disabled, and poor children; build schools, award scholarships, sponsor educational security, and programs for the country's sea and islands...
