As part of the series of activities for the Announcement Ceremony of the 555th Anniversary of the Name Thanh Chuong (1469-2024) and the 94th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Party Committee and People of Thanh Chuong District (September 1, 1939 - September 1, 2024), on the morning of August 10, 2024, at the Central Park, Thanh Chuong Town (Thanh Chuong District - Nghe An Province ), the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Thanh Chuong District, in coordination with Photography and Life Magazine, organized the photo exhibition "Thanh Chuong: Land and People".

555 YEARS OF THE NAME THANH CHUONG
As part of the series of activities for the Announcement Ceremony of the 555th Anniversary of the Name Thanh Chuong (1469-2024) and the 94th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Party Committee and People of Thanh Chuong District (September 1, 1939 - September 1, 2024), on the morning of August 10, 2024, at the Central Park, Thanh Chuong Town (Thanh Chuong District - Nghe An), the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Thanh Chuong District, in coordination with Photography and Life Magazine, organized the photo exhibition "Thanh Chuong: Land and People".

Attendees at the ceremony included: Journalist and photographer Ho Sy Minh, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, and Editor-in-Chief of the Magazine; Poet Ho Mau Thanh, President of the Nghe An Union of Literature and Arts Associations, and a representative of the Nghe An Journalists Association.

Representing the Thanh Chuong district leadership were: Mr. Nguyen Van Que, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee; Mr. Trinh Van Nha, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the District People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Huu Hien, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee; members of the District Party Committee Standing Committee; the Standing Committee of the District People's Council; the District People's Committee; the District Fatherland Front Committee; the District Association of Literature and Arts; representatives from specialized departments and offices of the district; and a large number of people.
Thanh Chuong District, located in the southwest of Nghe An Province, is a land of picturesque and poetic natural beauty. Throughout the history of the nation's enduring development and the ups and downs of its people, the people of Thanh Chuong have always been hardworking, resilient, courageous, intelligent, creative, and loyal. This land, which values teachers and learning, has produced many renowned generals, virtuous officials, scientists , and famous entrepreneurs, thus embodying the spirit of a land of exceptional people and rich history.
In the process of reform initiated and led by the Party, overcoming numerous difficulties and challenges, Thanh Chuong has made steady progress. With its own internal strength, along with state investment in many fields and the support of patriotic sons and daughters who cherish their roots, Thanh Chuong has created a new vision and aspiration for prosperity.

The exhibition showcases 124 documentary and artistic photographs depicting the land and people of Thanh Chuong in the process of development and integration. These include documentary and newly created photographs (40 individual photos and 84 photo series, totaling 550 images). This is an opportunity to recall the glorious traditions and pride of our heroic and revolutionary Soviet homeland throughout history. It aims to unleash resources, provide new strength, and successfully implement the reform and international integration initiated and led by our Party. The goal is to build Thanh Chuong into an increasingly prosperous, beautiful, and civilized place, forever a desirable place to live.
The exhibition's content and layout are divided into four parts: “Memories of Thanh Chuong” features 21 works (18 photo sets, 3 individual photos). “Returning to the Land of Heritage” has 24 works, which are photo sets introducing 24 out of 123 national and provincial-level historical relics in the district. “Thanh Chuong: A Tourist Destination” with 24 works (20 individual photos, 4 photo sets) showcases Thanh Chuong's tourist destinations. “Thanh Chuong: Innovation and Development” includes 55 works (38 photo sets, 17 individual photos) introducing the events, achievements, and development potential of Thanh Chuong. The exhibition will take place from August 9-11, 2024, at the Central Park, Thanh Chuong Town.
