PHOTO EXHIBITION "THANH CHUONG LAND AND PEOPLE"
555 YEARS OF THANH CHUONG'S NAME

As part of the series of activities of the Ceremony to announce the 555th anniversary of the Thanh Chuong Title (1469-2024) and celebrate the 94th anniversary of the Party and People's Tradition Day of Thanh Chuong District (September 1, 1939 - September 1, 2024) on the morning of August 10, 2024, at the Central Park, Thanh Chuong Town (Thanh Chuong District - Nghe An), the District Party Committee - Thanh Chuong District People's Committee coordinated with Photography and Life Magazine to organize the Photo Exhibition "Thanh Chuong Land and People".

Delegates attending the ceremony included: Journalist - Photographer Ho Sy Minh, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, Editor-in-Chief of the Magazine; Poet Ho Mau Thanh, President of the Nghe An Literature and Arts Association, representative leader of the Nghe An Journalists Association.

On the side of Thanh Chuong district leaders, there were comrades: Nguyen Van Que, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee; Trinh Van Nha, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee; Nguyen Huu Hien, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, comrades in the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Standing Committee of the People's Council, People's Committee, District Fatherland Front Committee, District Literature and Arts Association, representatives of specialized departments of the district and a large number of people.

Thanh Chuong district is located in the southwest of Nghe An province, a land of beautiful and poetic mountains and rivers. Along with the existence and development of the nation, through many ups and downs of history, in every era, Thanh Chuong people are hard-working, diligent, brave, intelligent, creative, and loyal to their feelings. The land that respects teachers and loves learning has produced many famous generals, good mandarins, scientists, and famous businessmen... crystallizing the land of "geomancy and talent".

In the cause of innovation initiated and led by the Party, overcoming many difficulties and challenges, Thanh Chuong has made steady progress. With its own internal strength, along with the investment of the state in many fields and the children who love their homeland and turn to their roots, it has created the premise for Thanh Chuong to have a new vision with the aspiration to get rich.

The exhibition introduces 124 documentary and artistic photos about the land and people of Thanh Chuong in the process of development and integration, which are new documentary and creative photos (including 40 single photos and 84 photos in a series, a total of 550 photos). This is an opportunity to review the glorious tradition and pride in the heroic and revolutionary Soviet homeland throughout history. Arouse resources, add new strength, successfully carry out the renovation and international integration initiated and led by our Party. Build Thanh Chuong to be increasingly rich, beautiful and civilized, forever a land worth living.

The content and layout of the Exhibition include 4 parts: "Thanh Chuong Memories" has 21 works (18 photo sets, 3 single photos). "Returning to the Heritage Land" has 24 works, a photo set introducing 24/123 national and provincial historical relics in the district. "Thanh Chuong Tourist Destination" with 24 works (20 single photos, 4 photo sets) are tourist destinations of Thanh Chuong. "Thanh Chuong Innovation and Development" includes 55 works (38 photo sets, 17 single photos) introducing events, achievements and development potential of Thanh Chuong. The exhibition takes place from August 9-11, 2024, at the Central Park, Thanh Chuong Town.
