The Xiaomi 15 Series is expected to launch later this year, including the Xiaomi 15, Xiaomi 15 Pro and Xiaomi 15 Ultra. Recently, some information about the Xiaomi 15 Ultra has just been revealed.

According to leaker Smart Pikachu, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will have a dual-layer OLED screen, supporting 2K resolution. This technology is called Tandem OLED by Apple on the latest iPad models, providing improved brightness and HDR performance compared to single-layer OLED panels.

Previously, it was revealed that Xiaomi 15 Ultra could be one of the first phones to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC chip with outstanding performance that will be launched next October. It can provide two large cores along with six medium cores and will be manufactured on TSMC's 3nm process.

The device will come with an impressive 24GB of RAM and a massive 6,000mAh battery that can last for 2 days. Leaker Smart Pikachu suggests that the Xiaomi will not be light or thin (its predecessor was 9.2mm thick and weighed 229.5g).

Gizmochina revealed that the Xiaomi 15 series will be dust and water resistant to IP69 standards (currently, flagship smartphones from Samsung, Apple and Xiaomi only meet IP68 dust and water resistance standards).

There are currently no devices on the market that meet the IP69 standard. If the rumors are true, the Xiaomi 15 series products will be the first phones to be equipped with this high-end standard.

The Xiaomi 15 series phone is rumored to come with a 50MP resolution camera and a super large sensor combined with a 50MP telephoto periscope zoom camera for up to 3x zoom.

Previous reports also said that Xiaomi plans to launch the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra globally, while the Xiaomi 15 Pro may remain exclusive to China.
