Meanwhile, the quota for this method is more than 800 candidates. Compared to the method of considering high school graduation exam scores in 2023, the benchmark score for the method of combining international English certificates is lower in some majors but higher in some majors. In particular, the major has a lower benchmark score for the method of combining international English certificates, for example, medicine takes 27.1 points for the method of combining international foreign language certificates (27.34 points for the method of considering high school graduation exam scores). But on the contrary, the preventive medicine major only takes 22.65 points from the high school graduation exam scores in 2023 but up to 23.45 points for the method of combining international English certificates.
This year, the number of candidates submitting IELTS certificates decreased slightly while the quota for this method increased, which shows that compared to last year, the level of competition among candidates in this method is "easier". However, according to the school's regulations, in this method, an international English certificate is only a necessary condition for submitting an application. The school will consider candidates based on the high school graduation exam scores of the subjects according to the admission combination, in which the standard score for this method must not be 2 points lower than the standard score of the same major in the high school graduation exam score method.
There are 68 candidates with SAT scores from 1,340 applying for admission.

The required conditions for admission are that candidates must have graduated from high school and the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam must have a total score of 3 exams/subjects of math, chemistry, biology and priority points (if any) must be equal to or above the minimum score threshold to ensure input quality as prescribed by the school's Admissions Council.
