The 6th Ngoc Linh Ginseng Festival in 2024, with the theme Ngoc Linh - Forever Proud, will take place from August 1 to 3, 2024 to promote and introduce to domestic and foreign friends a precious medicinal plant of our country, which is Ngoc Linh ginseng - Vietnamese ginseng; making Ngoc Linh ginseng a medicinal plant with a brand name and high economic value, comparable to other ginsengs in the world such as Korean ginseng, American ginseng, Russian ginseng, Canadian ginseng...

Notably, to attract consumers, within the framework of the activities of the 6th Ngoc Linh Ginseng Festival in 2024, the Ngoc Linh ginseng contest is a quite exciting and interesting activity, attracting a large number of people to participate and tourists to experience. This year's Ngoc Linh ginseng contest attracted more than 100 households to participate. Accordingly, the households brought to the contest about 300 "ginseng contestants" at the following ages: 1-4 years old, 5 years old, 7 years old, 9 years old and 10 years old.

After winning the prize, the ginseng plants were auctioned to support the Fund for Eliminating Temporary Housing for Poor Households in Nam Tra My District. As a result, the auction raised more than 361 million VND, all of which was used to support the work of eliminating temporary housing in Nam Tra My District. This is one of the activities that not only contributes to enriching the Ngoc Linh Ginseng Festival in 2024, but also has a humanitarian meaning.

Mr. Tran Duy Dung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Tra My district, Quang Nam province, said: Quang Nam province, Nam Tra My district also has a support mechanism for ethnic minorities to develop Ngoc Linh ginseng, including leasing forest environmental services, supporting 80% of capital for people growing Ngoc Linh ginseng. Currently, in Nam Tra My district, there are 18 enterprises investing in planting and developing Ngoc Linh ginseng and 1 enterprise has invested in building a medicinal processing factory. In the future, Quang Nam hopes to attract more enterprises to invest in deep processing of products from Ngoc Linh ginseng, such as: medicinal herbs, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, drinking water... to increase the value of Ngoc Linh ginseng.

On the side of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, to support Ngoc Linh ginseng growers, in 2023, the General Department of Market Management organized the opening of the Exhibition Room "Correctly Identifying Ngoc Linh Ginseng on the Market". In addition to displaying fresh root products to compare real and fake, the Exhibition Room "Correctly Identifying Ngoc Linh Ginseng on the Market" also introduces to consumers other products extracted from ginseng such as: Ngoc Linh ginseng leaf wine; Ngoc Linh ginseng flower wine... and other products such as: Ngoc Linh ginseng tea, Ngoc Linh ginseng energy drink, Ngoc Linh ginseng bird's nest, K5 Kids Ngoc Linh ginseng bird's nest, Ngoc Linh ginseng health protection food, Ngoc Linh ginseng extract...
