With the theme "Vietnamese workers are pioneers in entering a new era", the District Labor Federation directed grassroots unions to promote propaganda about the purpose and meaning of Workers' Month and the glorious tradition of the Vietnamese working class; to carry out well the work of caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; to organize visits and give gifts to union members and workers in especially difficult circumstances, those who have suffered from work-related accidents and occupational diseases. The District Labor Federation also directed grassroots unions to coordinate with employers to organize training, provide guidance on safe working skills, prevent work-related accidents and occupational diseases, and organize periodic health check-ups for workers; to launch patriotic emulation movements, focusing on the movement "Good workers, creative workers", creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere among union members and workers.

At the launching ceremony, the Vu Thu District Labor Federation awarded 50 union members and workers with outstanding achievements in the movement "Good workers, creative workers"; presented 150 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances and those who had work-related accidents with a total amount of 100 million VND; presented 200 million VND to support 4 union members to build union shelters.
