In addition, financial and budget management has been carried out strictly and effectively since the beginning of the year. The total state budget revenue is estimated at over 580 billion VND, equal to 26.3% of the provincial estimate. The total local budget revenue is estimated at over 536 billion VND, equal to 29.6% of the provincial estimate. This is a favorable momentum, Thai Thuy district continues to maintain a double-digit growth rate, the goal of transforming itself to "reach out to the ocean".

Mr. Do Phuc Hau, Deputy Head of the District's Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Affairs Division, said: In recent years, the district's industrial production value has increased by an average of 22.85% per year. The district has planned 10 industrial parks with a total area of ​​3,622.5 hectares and 7 industrial clusters (ICs) with a total area of ​​381.2 hectares. In particular, Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park has attracted more than 30 investors with a total registered capital of over 1.5 billion USD. In early March 2025, VSIP Thai Binh Industrial Park project started construction with a scale of 333.4 hectares and a total investment of over 4,932 billion VND. This project not only creates more than 30,000 jobs for local people but also makes an important contribution to the shift in the district's economic structure from agriculture to industry and services. Taking advantage of its potential and advantages, the district has proposed to the Provincial People's Committee to establish 3 new ICs. Specifically, Thai Do Industrial Park is planned on an area of ​​53.1 hectares in Thai Do commune, with a total infrastructure investment of nearly VND580 billion; Thai Giang Industrial Park is planned on an area of ​​75 hectares in Thai Giang commune, with a total investment of about VND846 billion; Thuy Ninh Industrial Park is planned on an area of ​​75 hectares in Thuy Ninh commune, with a total infrastructure investment of VND870 billion. These projects are expected to attract many FDI enterprises to invest, create jobs for local workers and contribute to economic growth.

Land clearance creates momentum for breakthrough

Notably, in the past time, the district has completed site clearance of more than 1,145 hectares and relocated about 4,000 graves to implement important projects such as Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park, new National Highway 37, planned roads No. 2, No. 5 and coastal roads.

For the VSIP Thai Binh Industrial Park project, the site clearance work has reached about 90%, creating favorable conditions for the commencement of construction and attracting investment. In the first quarter of 2025, the district approved 42 site clearance plans, reclaimed more than 238 hectares, with total compensation and support costs of more than VND 573 billion. Currently, projects such as the CT.08 Expressway, the Thai Binh LNG Thermal Power Plant and the Ammonia Plant are being accelerated to carry out site clearance to attract investment and promote economic growth. The district has mobilized the participation of the entire political system, closely coordinating with communes, towns and specialized agencies to remove difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process. Propaganda work has been promoted so that people clearly understand the meaning and importance of the projects, thereby agreeing to hand over the site. Mr. Dinh Ba Luong, Chairman of Son Ha Commune People's Committee, said: The CT.08 expressway project through Son Ha commune has a land acquisition area of ​​more than 43 hectares. To carry out the land acquisition work, the commune has closely coordinated with the District People's Committee and the Land Fund Development Center to deploy steps to determine the origin of land and population, and at the same time arrange resettlement areas for affected households. Up to now, the commune has completed the planning of 1.1 hectares of residential land in Kim Thanh village and 1.5 hectares of land to expand the cemetery in Nam Hung Tay village. With the motto "close to the people, close to the people", the local government has propagated, mobilized and resolved problems promptly, creating high consensus among the people, ensuring the land acquisition on schedule.

Regarding the Thai Binh LNG Thermal Power Plant project, the people of Thai Do commune have high consensus, are ready to welcome and support the project. Mr. Ta Ngoc Khoi, Chairman of Thai Do Commune People's Committee, said: To implement the land acquisition for the Thai Binh LNG Thermal Power Plant project, the commune government has closely coordinated with relevant agencies, completed the review of the entire agricultural and aquaculture land area of ​​287 households, and sent land recovery notices to each household. Currently, more than 95% of people voluntarily handed over land acquisition ahead of schedule for the project. The high consensus from the people is an important factor, creating favorable conditions for the project to start construction on schedule, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the locality. According to Mr. Mai Tien Trinh, Director of the District Land Fund Development Center: The Center has completed land acquisition and clearance of more than 600 hectares in Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park. Currently, the Center is focusing on land acquisition and clearance of VSIP Thai Binh Industrial Park project, for converted land and residential land, it is expected to complete land acquisition and clearance in 2025. For routes 1 and 2, land acquisition and clearance of 0.36 km of 9 households are being carried out. In parallel with accelerating the progress of land acquisition and clearance of CT.08 project, the Center is coordinating with the Mining Chemical Industry Corporation - Vinacomin to review, set compensation prices, support and inventory assets on the land for the Ammonia Production Plant project with a scale of 19.6 hectares and a total investment of nearly 6,500 billion VND. With the spirit of "clear people, clear work, clear responsibilities, clear completion time", the Center strives to complete land acquisition and clearance on schedule.
