The total number of dogs and cats in the district is currently about 28,000, including about 25,000 dogs and 3,000 cats. In the face of the complicated developments of rabies, localities in the district have organized vaccinations according to a specific schedule, and at the same time widely propagated the "5 no's" in animal husbandry: do not raise unvaccinated dogs and cats; do not raise undeclared dogs and cats; do not raise free-range dogs; do not let dogs bite people; do not raise dogs and cats that pollute the environment.

People's Committees of communes and towns coordinate with veterinary forces to strengthen inspection and strictly handle violations of regulations on vaccination and livestock management, contributing to effective rabies prevention in the community.
