Adjusting at the end of the morning session and the beginning of the afternoon session, VN-Index continued to recover with an increase of 5.6 points, equivalent to 0.46%, to 1,215.88 points. VN30-Index increased by 0.77 points, equivalent to 0.06%; HNX-Index increased by 1.5 points, equivalent to 0.66%, and UPCoM-Index decreased slightly by 0.19 points, equivalent to 0.21%.

Market breadth was tilted towards the gainers. HoSE had 228 gainers, 8 ceiling gainers compared to 182 losers, 1 floor loser. HNX had 110 gainers, 13 ceiling gainers compared to 67 losers, 5 floor losers; UPCoM market had 190 gainers, 16 ceiling gainers compared to 78 losers, 5 floor losers.

Thus, T+ swing traders who bought low-priced stocks in the sell-off session at the beginning of the week have made significant profits today.

While some investors actively take profits, the majority of people holding money still maintain an observation position, determined not to disburse new funds. Market liquidity continues to narrow accordingly.

Trading volume on HoSE stopped at 623.84 million shares, equivalent to VND14,192.14 billion; on HNX it was 38.52 million shares, equivalent to VND723.33 billion and on UPCoM it was 31.28 million shares, equivalent to VND507.89 billion.

With today's explosive session, VHM and VRE are the two stocks with the highest liquidity in the entire market. Matching orders at VHM reached 36.7 million shares and at VRE it was 21.5 million shares. While VHM hit the ceiling price of VND37,200, VRE closed at VND18,000, recording an increase of 5.9%. VIC shares increased by 2.5% to VND42,350, matching orders reached 5.3 million shares.

Vingroup Group also contributed significantly to VN-Index. VHM alone contributed 2.55 points to the main index; VIC contributed 0.98 points and VRE contributed 0.48 points.

The market capitalization of VHM and VIC increased sharply, however, in the top 10 stocks with the largest market capitalization, these two codes are still at the bottom. Specifically, after hitting the ceiling, VHM's capitalization reached VND161,982 billion, still lower than CTG (VND162,174 billion) and HPG (VND166,622 billion). Meanwhile, VIC's capitalization is VND161,932 billion.

In today's session, VIC's capitalization increased by 4,015 billion VND and VHM's capitalization increased by 10,450.5 billion VND.

With the strong price increase in today's session, VIC's market price is still nearly 34% lower than a year ago, while VHM's market price has decreased nearly 41% after a year.

While Vin stocks strongly supported the index, half of VN30 stocks still decreased. TCB decreased 2.2%, with 19.6 million units matched; VPB decreased 1.9%, with 13.5 million units matched; SSB decreased 1.8% and TPB decreased 1.7%, with 13.9 million units matched.

Green spread among real estate stocks in the afternoon session. Some purple codes hit the ceiling price such as VRC, TDH, LDG. HQC shares increased by 6.2%; QCG increased by 5.1%; SGR increased by 3.8%; DRH increased by 3.8%; ITA increased by 3.7%; DXS increased by 3.7%.

The food and beverage group witnessed ceiling price increases at AGM and HNG. These two codes had no sell orders, in which HNG matched 5.5 million shares, with a ceiling price buy surplus of 5.5 million units.

In the second recovery session of VN-Index, foreign investors continued to net sell strongly with a value of VND 1,390 billion across the entire market, of which the net selling value on HoSE reached VND 1,361 billion. VHM was unexpectedly net sold by foreign investors with a value of VND 720 billion. Foreign investors also net sold VPB with a value of VND 118 billion, HPG with VND 112 billion, TPB with VND 103 billion and TCB with VND 95 billion.
