Previously, the tuition fee for public education in Vinh Phuc was increased according to Resolution No. 13 of the Provincial People's Council. With Resolution No. 08, the tuition fee from the 2024-2025 school year in the province will be reduced by 50% compared to the previous school year. Tuition fees are collected based on the actual number of months of study, but not more than 9 months/school year.

Specifically, urban areas include wards in Vinh Yen city and Phuc Yen city, tuition fees for all levels range from 80,000 - 180,000 VND/student/month.

Rural areas include communes and towns that are not mountainous ethnic minority areas, tuition fees for all levels range from 60,000 - 100,000 VND/student/month.

In ethnic minority and mountainous areas, tuition fees for all levels range from 30,000 - 60,000 VND/student/month.

The collection level stipulated in Resolution No. 08 of the People's Council of Vinh Phuc province is used as a basis for tuition support for 5-year-old preschool children, primary school students, and secondary school students studying at non-public educational institutions who are eligible for tuition exemption and reduction policies according to the provisions of Decree No. 81 of the Government.

In addition, Resolution No. 08 still maintains the regulation that the tuition fee for online learning is 80% of the direct tuition fee. This fee will be applied to preschool level when the Ministry of Education and Training allows online teaching.
