Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai and First Secretary of the Central Youth Union Bui Quang Huy presented the title to the Top 10 outstanding young entrepreneurs in 2024.
Outstanding Young Entrepreneur of 2024 is a title voted annually by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association since 2015.
This title aims to encourage and motivate young Vietnamese entrepreneurs with outstanding achievements in starting a business, create a competitive movement among young entrepreneurs, and promote production and business activities of enterprises.
In 2024, the program to vote and award the title of Outstanding Young Entrepreneur will be implemented from March.
From nearly 200 applications from 43 provinces and cities, through 3 rounds of scientific and rigorous voting, the voting council selected 86 outstanding candidates to award the title of Outstanding Young Entrepreneur and secretly voted to select the 10 best candidates to award the title of Top 10.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai affirmed that the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association has gone through more than 30 years of formation and development. Under the leadership and direction of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union, creative start-up activities in general and creative start-up activities among young entrepreneurs in particular have continuously developed.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly also advised young Vietnamese entrepreneurs, typically the outstanding young entrepreneurs who were honored, to continuously strive to be worthy of the title awarded, contributing to enhancing the spirit of great national unity, contributing to making Vietnam develop strongly, prosperously and civilized.
"This is the key to your survival and growth in today's increasingly challenging and rapidly changing business environment.
I also hope that you will not only focus on profits but also have social responsibility, actively contribute to the sustainable development of the community, protect the environment and promote social values," the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly emphasized.
86 outstanding young entrepreneurs of 2024 were honored
According to information from the organizing committee, the businesses of 86 outstanding young entrepreneurs in 2024 generated revenue in 2023 of VND 2,546 billion, profits of nearly VND 103 billion, paid the budget VND 51.64 billion, and created jobs for nearly 7,000 workers.
The business of the Top 10 outstanding young entrepreneurs in 2024 alone generated revenue in 2023 of VND 1,128 billion, profit of VND 64 billion, paid the budget of VND 31.23 billion, and created jobs for 3,722 workers.
