The number of domestically assembled cars sold was 11,1067 units and the number of imported cars was 10,539 units.
In the first two months of 2025, the total number of cars of all types sold on the market was 40,499 units (28,750 passenger cars, 11,129 commercial vehicles and 620 specialized vehicles).
In February 2025, the best-selling car was VinFast VF3 with 5,200 units. Ranked 2nd and 3rd were also cars from the VinFast brand, VF5 and VF6 with 3,000 and 2,000 units, respectively. Ranked 4th was Ford Ranger with 1,111 units. Mitsubishi Xpander ranked 5th with 1,053 units. Next was Mazda CX5 with 923 units. Ranked 7th and 8th respectively were Ford Everest with 760 units and Toyota Vios with 754 units. Ranked 9th and 10th were Honda City (743 units) and VinFast VF7 (570 units).
Experts predict that the automobile market will continue to grow strongly as prices of agricultural products such as coffee and pepper have continuously increased in recent times, helping people have the conditions to buy means of transport.
In addition, the gradual economic recovery along with the diversity of models and prices of many car lines on the market will contribute to promoting Vietnamese people to increase their purchases of new cars in 2025.
