The airline said the new aircraft are expected to be delivered from August 2024, mostly Airbus's most modern A321neo ACF aircraft. In 2019, Vietjet was the first airline in the world to put into operation the A321neo ACF (Airbus Cabin Flex).

The A321neo ACF aircraft has an improved cabin structure design, ensuring standards in size and distance between seats, to bring the best flight experience to customers. The A321neo ACF aircraft also helps reduce fuel consumption by a minimum of 16%, reduce noise by up to 75% and emissions to the environment by up to 50%.

Recently, Vietjet also signed a contract to purchase 20 new generation wide-body aircraft A330neo (A330-900) from Airbus with a total value of 7.4 billion USD. People and tourists will soon be able to fly with Vietjet's new A330neo aircraft on longer routes.

Vietjet is operating a fleet of more than 100 aircraft with advanced, modern, and safe generations of aircraft such as A320, A321ceo, A321neo - A321neo ACF, A330 to protect the environment, save fuel, and contribute to the goal of reducing net emissions to 0 (Net Zero) by 2050. This airline has transported 200 million passengers, including millions of people flying for the first time.

In the first half of 2024, Vietjet transported 13.1 million passengers and operated 70,154 safe flights. Vietjet recorded consolidated revenue in the first half of 2024 of VND 34,016 billion and pre-tax profit of VND 1,311 billion after 6 months, up 15% and 433% respectively over the same period, exceeding the annual plan by 21%. Vietjet contributed VND 3,687 billion in direct and indirect taxes and fees to the budget in the first six months of 2024.
