This is a particularly important international event hosted by the Vietnam Federation of UNESCO Associations, attracting the participation of 40 representatives from member countries such as China, Korea, Japan, Italy, Greece, Kazakhstan, Romania, etc., along with hundreds of delegates from cultural, educational and scientific agencies and organizations in Vietnam.

The World Federation of UNESCO Associations (WFUCA) Executive Board Meeting is an annual event to promote global education, science, culture and communication. This year, the event becomes an important forum to discuss and shape activities in many fields globally, especially when Vietnam hosts it.

At the conference, member countries will report, summarize and evaluate activities for the 2023-2024 period, adopt and amend the Charter of the World Federation of UNESCO Associations, elect new leadership positions and discuss preparations for the 44th Conference.

A special highlight of this year's Conference is that delegates will share experiences and discuss the role of cultural industries and the creative economy in promoting economic growth, creating livelihoods and preserving cultural heritage.

2024 marks a decade since the Party Central Committee issued Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW of the 9th Central Conference, 11th tenure on building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development. From this resolution, the cultural industry not only creates economic value but also contributes to the dissemination of national cultural heritage and plays an important role in the agenda of the global UNESCO Movement.

The international conference “The Role and Contribution of the UNESCO Movement to the Cultural Industry” will be an opportunity for domestic and international leaders, experts, businesses and individuals to connect, exchange ideas, share experiences and propose solutions to build corporate culture and develop the cultural industry in Vietnam.

During this event, the Cultural Values ​​Council of the Vietnam Federation of UNESCO Associations will present certificates of merit and recognition to individuals and organizations with many contributions to the UNESCO movement and promotion of cultural heritage values.

The 43rd World Federation of UNESCO Associations Executive Board Meeting and this International Conference are expected to make positive contributions to building the future of the cultural industry in Vietnam, reaffirming the role and persistent efforts of the Vietnam Federation of UNESCO Associations in protecting and promoting human cultural values.
