Vietnam has copyright for 2024 Paris Olympics before closing day

(Dan Tri) - On the evening of August 8, a Vietnamese television channel announced that it owned the copyright for the 2024 Paris Olympics. This is the time when Vietnamese athletes will no longer compete in the Olympics in France.
"Audiences can enjoy the exciting developments of the 2024 Paris Olympics on the VTVcab television system from August 8 to August 12," VTVcab announced on the On Sports channel. According to this announcement, the competitions at the 2024 Paris Olympics will be broadcast on VTV2 and VTV3 channels of the VTVcab system. In fact, viewers have been able to enjoy the content of the 2024 Olympics for free on the above channels, but the audience is a bit disappointed when the biggest sporting event on the planet is only 3 days away from closing, while the Vietnamese sports delegation has no athletes competing in the Olympics. Previously, due to high costs, no television unit or television copyright business in Vietnam was able to buy the rights to broadcast the 2024 Paris Olympics live. Currently, the 2024 Olympics still have some notable events, including the men's and women's football final and especially the closing ceremony. However, after Vietnam no longer has any athletes competing in the Olympics, the attraction of the tournament has decreased significantly. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, the Vietnamese sports delegation did not compete successfully. The 16 athletes including: Le Quoc Phong, Do Thi Anh Nguyet (archery), Nguyen Thuy Linh, Le Duc Phat (badminton), Trinh Thu Vinh, Le Thi Mong Tuyen (shooting), Vo Thi Kim Anh, Ha Thi Linh (boxing); Nguyen Huy Hoang (swimming), Nguyen Thi That (cycling), Trinh Van Vinh (weightlifting), Pham Thi Hue (rowing), Hoang Thi Tinh (judo) and Vo Thi My Tien (swimming), Tran Thi Nhi Yen (athletics), Nguyen Thi Huong (canoeing), all failed to win any medals. The most notable achievement of the Vietnamese sports delegation was the two finals of shooting by shooter Trinh Thu Vinh, while most of the remaining athletes could not surpass themselves. While the Vietnamese sports delegation "empty-handed" left the Olympics, countries in the region such as Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia all won gold medals.
