In the second leg, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team will travel to Thailand with the goal of reclaiming their debt to the Thais. However, first, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team must deal with tough opponents Indonesia and the Philippines.

Notably, in the second leg, the main hitter Tran Thi Thanh Thuy did not participate. Opposite Nguyen Thi Tra My replaced Thanh Thuy's position. The young player of VTV Binh Dien Long An also appeared with the team in Vinh Phuc but was not on the official list.

Entering the opening match against Indonesia, Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet used his strongest lineup and easily won 25/15 in set 1. However, in set 2, the team from the archipelago played very well, winning again with the exact score of 25/15 to tie the score at 1-1.

In the next two sets, the match was more balanced. The Vietnamese girls won with the score of 25/21, 25/21, winning 3-1 overall. In the next match, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team will meet the Philippines at 3:00 p.m. on August 10.

Stage 2 of SEA V-League 2024 takes place from August 9 to August 11 in Nakhon Ratchasima city, Thailand, with the participation of 4 teams: Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia and host Thailand.
