More than 300 union members and young people participated in the general cleaning at the Martyrs' Cemetery of Diem Dien town and the Martyrs' Cemetery of Thuy Hai commune; clearing bushes, cleaning the environment, and planting 600 new trees in Thuy Hai commune. The units also coordinated to propagate and disseminate laws on security and safety of offshore oil and gas activities to nearly 200 fishermen and owners of offshore fishing vessels in Thai Thuy district.

The activities not only demonstrate the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", paying tribute to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation, but also contribute to educating the tradition of patriotism, raising awareness and responsibility of union members, youth and people in building and protecting the sovereignty of the province's sea borders.
