Hope School welcomes nearly 100 orphaned students due to Covid-19 pandemic

FPT Corporation said that in the 2024-2025 school year, Hy Vong School will receive nearly 100 more orphaned students due to the Covid-19 pandemic from many provinces and cities.

Ms. Truong Thanh Thanh, member of the Founding Council and Director of FPT Social Responsibility, said that Hy Vong School has entered its third year and welcomed 6 generations of students. To welcome new students, for more than a month now, the old students have been working with teachers to clean and prepare the classrooms to be neat and tidy.

On this occasion, relatives of some students also came along to visit the facilities, accommodation and study places of their children. Nearly 100 students from primary to high school, from 13 provinces and cities such as Binh Duong, Ben Tre, Long An, Tien Giang, Bac Lieu , Tra Vinh... have enrolled in Hy Vong School.

After arriving in Da Nang , the new students will be assigned to their platoon. Together, they will go through activities to get acquainted and experience the new learning environment such as: disseminating regulations, distributing personal belongings, receiving accommodation, attending the welcome ceremony, listening to the sharing of old students, thereby helping them gain more confidence to overcome loss, continue studying, growing and developing...

In the 2023-2024 school year, the school has 40 students winning first, second, and third prizes in district and city-level competitions for excellent students in Math, English, Biology, etc. and achieving high achievements in sports such as athletics, badminton, etc. Including 8 first prizes, 12 second prizes, 8 third prizes, and 12 consolation prizes.
