Phenikaa University adds V-SAT admission, adjusts combination, opens Law major

Compared to 2024, Phenikaa University's admission method this year has a new point when adding the V-SAT university entrance exam. In addition, the school also adjusted the admission subject combination accordingly, adding admission combinations with the subjects of Information Technology or Science and Technology.

Open 8 new majors

Sharing on the sidelines of the 2025 Admissions and Career Counseling Festival, held in Hanoi on March 16, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Phu Khanh, Vice Principal of Phenikaa University, said that in 2025, the school will enroll students in 4 ways.

These methods include: Direct admission according to the Admissions Project of Phenikaa University; Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, Admission based on high school transcripts; Admission based on the results of the Hanoi National University's competency assessment test or the results of the Hanoi University of Science and Technology's thinking assessment test or the V-SAT university entrance assessment test.

Compared to 2024, this year's admission method of Phenikaa University has a new point when adding the V-SAT university entrance assessment exam.

In addition, to ensure the benefits for candidates studying the 2018 General Education Program, Phenikaa University also adjusted the admission subject combinations accordingly, adding admission combinations with Informatics or Science and Technology subjects, such as: K01 (Math - English - Informatics) or D84 (Math - English - Economic and Legal Education)...

In 2025, Phenikaa University will open 8 new majors, including: Law, Business Law, International Law, International Trade Law, Auditing, Intelligent Mechatronic Systems, Multimedia Communications and Midwifery.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Phu Khanh emphasized that these are majors that meet the needs of the labor market in rapidly developing fields such as media, law, finance, technology and healthcare, opening up many better job opportunities for students after graduation.

In particular, the school focuses on developing the Engineering sector with new majors such as Intelligent Mechatronics, as well as majors in the Health Sciences Sector, Biomedical Electronics and many other multidisciplinary majors. These new points aim to help candidates in this year's admission season choose the right major, opening up more good job opportunities after graduation.

In addition, in 2024, Phenikaa University Hospital will officially come into operation, marking an important milestone and opening up opportunities for practice, in-depth internships and creating job opportunities immediately after graduation for students of the Health Sciences Department.

Students have the opportunity to practice research right in the laboratories.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Phu Khanh also shared that 2025 is the first year that students studying the 2018 General Education Program will graduate from high school and apply for university. Therefore, Phenikaa University has made adjustments to better suit the new curriculum of the students.

The school pays special attention to helping candidates and parents understand suitable careers through participating in Consulting Days in provinces and cities. During the weeks, the school has a Campus Visit program for high schools, students and parents are free to register to visit the school. When arriving at the school, students can choose 3-4 majors that interest them most to visit the facilities, laboratories and meet directly with lecturers in the major to learn more about the career they are interested in.

Regarding the field of semiconductors, according to Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Phu Khanh, Phenikaa University currently has two undergraduate training majors related to this field, including Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering (Semiconductor Circuit Design); Semiconductor Chips and Packaging Technology.

To innovate the training program, the school has updated the latest programs, recruited and invited domestic and international experts to participate in training, and equipped the most modern facilities. When studying at Phenikaa, students will have the opportunity to practice research right in the laboratories.

At the same time, Phenikaa has an open ecosystem in the enterprise to develop the field of semiconductor technology, develop core microchips, therefore creating conditions for students to have the opportunity to participate in creative testing right in companies, as well as labs and laboratories.

VR-Tour technology provides a virtual reality experience, allowing students to “tour” Phenikaa University campus online.

At the 2025 Admissions and Career Counseling Day, held in Hanoi on March 16, Phenikaa University sent 100 staff, lecturers and students to participate at the booth, ready to accompany students, provide advice and share information in a dedicated and in-depth manner.

With the participation of 23 Faculties, the school deployed 13 specialized consulting booths, helping candidates explore in detail 4 training fields/majors.

Phenikaa University also brought to the Festival modern technologies to help candidates have a visual view of the learning environment. In particular, VR-Tour technology provides a virtual reality experience, allowing students to “visit” the campus, laboratories and modern learning spaces online.
