On August 2, in Hanoi, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) held a ceremony to announce the decision of the SBV Governor to receive and appoint the Deputy Chief Inspector and Bank Supervisor of the Banking Inspection and Supervision Agency (TTGSNH).

Accordingly, the Decision of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam accepts and appoints Mr. Lai Huu Phuoc - Head of Vietcombank's Supervisory Board to hold the position of Deputy Chief Inspector and Bank Supervisor under the Banking Supervision Agency. Mr. Lai Huu Phuoc's term of office is 5 years from the date of the decision of acceptance and appointment.

Presenting the Decision and congratulating Mr. Lai Huu Phuoc, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Pham Quang Dung said that, in the context of many challenges in the banking industry as present, the tasks set for the SBV will become increasingly difficult.

Therefore, the Deputy Governor requested the new Deputy Chief of the SBV's Central Bank, Lai Huu Phuoc, to continue to make efforts, promote his capacity and experience, coordinate with key units and officers of the SBV's Central Bank to grasp the work situation; proactively work with specialized units of the SBV, SBV branches in provinces and cities, especially units directly related to the work of the Central Bank.

At the same time, continue to train your mettle, professional capacity, and management skills, with the highest determination, together with the leadership and staff of the SBV TTGSNH Agency, to successfully complete the tasks entrusted to you by the SBV Board of Directors.

The Deputy Governor emphasized that, with the nature of the TTGS work, the workload is extremely large, requiring close coordination between units and levels in the TTGSNH Agency. The Deputy Governor requested the Board of Directors and key staff of the TTGSNH Agency to be exemplary, objective, stand side by side with all officers and civil servants working at the unit, and successfully complete assigned tasks.

Speaking at the new assignment, Mr. Lai Huu Phuoc affirmed that he will work with the Board of Directors of the TTGSNH Agency and all officers and civil servants of the unit to enhance responsibility, build solidarity, train and maintain the moral qualities of party members in the work of TTGSNH.
