Thanks to the 2021-2030 planning period, with a vision to 2050 with a drastic development orientation, Thai Binh City is gradually affirming its position, attracting strong FDI capital, being the driving force for the province's economic development, contributing to the overall development of the region.

Since 2022, when the project to move the headquarters of agencies, administrative units, production and business establishments, and residential areas from Thai Binh Bridge to Vinh Tra River was implemented, the area south of Vinh Tra River has attracted people to live, settle down and do business bustlingly.
Following the shift to the South, Thai Binh City has also witnessed many changes thanks to new architectural and landscape highlights of important significance. In particular, Ky Ba Park with an area of 10 hectares was urgently deployed and completed in 2023, becoming a place for entertainment, recreation, and health training to serve the people; at the same time, contributing to perfecting the urban appearance in the direction of civilization, green, clean, and beautiful.
From this landscape core point, pedestrian streets are formed in combination with commercial service activities, especially night-time economic activities, creating a vibrant development picture not only for city residents but also attracting tourists from near and far. According to urban experts, important landscape core points will create the driving force to lead the expansion of spatial planning and landscape of the surrounding area, thereby contributing to attracting residents.

In the next spatial layer, from the city center along Le Quy Don street to the South is the area planned to become the medical center of Thai Binh province, aiming to become a high-quality medical center in the Red River Delta. With a long tradition of medical development, Thai Binh has 2 medical training schools and a developed medical facility system, not only meeting the human resources and medical resources for the province but also for many provinces and cities in the country, even some neighboring countries.
Accordingly, the medical center in the southern area of the city is planned to develop synchronously, especially the infrastructure of the province's specialized hospitals including: Children's Hospital, Geriatric Hospital, Eye Hospital, General and Obstetrics Hospital, planning a new General Hospital with a scale of 1,500 beds and private hospitals such as Lam Hoa General Hospital, ...
With a systematic and synchronous development plan, the southern area is favorable for acceleration, becoming the expanding center of Thai Binh City. The city's urban space will continue to move rapidly towards Ring Road 2, forming new bustling residential communities while opening up opportunities to attract investment and develop sustainably.
