Ward - town friendship exchange

On March 14, a delegation of Tran Phu and Hai Yen wards (Mong Cai City, Vietnam) visited and had a friendly exchange with the People's Government of Dong Hung Town (Dong Hung City, China ).

At the program, exchange activities took place on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China in Dongxing town (China) to further demonstrate the friendship between Tran Phu ward, Hai Yen ward and Dongxing town, and at the same time vividly demonstrate the traditional friendship "both comrades and brothers" between Mong Cai city (Vietnam) and Dongxing city (China) over the years.

From 2017 to present, Tran Phu ward has always maintained effective implementation of ward-town friendship exchange activities with Dong Hung town (China). In particular, from June 30, 2023, Tran Phu ward and Dong Hung town officially signed an agreement to establish an international border ward-town friendship relationship. On January 17, 2025, Hai Yen ward and Dong Hung town also signed an agreement to establish an international border ward-town friendship relationship. Every year, wards and towns always maintain and expand the relationship through exchanges, learning experiences in economic, cultural, artistic, physical education and sports development, contributing to affirming the good friendship and cooperation relationship, following the motto of 16 golden words "Friendly neighbors, comprehensive cooperation, long-term stability, towards the future" and the spirit of 4 good things "Good neighbors, good friends, good comrades, good partners".

At the meeting, the two sides affirmed that Tran Phu ward, Hai Yen (Vietnam) and Dong Hung town (China) continue to be determined and persistent, contributing to promoting the cooperative relationship between the wards and towns in particular, and the two cities in general, to continue to develop the traditional friendship between wards and towns as a "model of friendly exchange" on the Vietnam - China border.

Through the friendship exchange program between Tran Phu ward, Hai Yen, Mong Cai city (Vietnam) and Dong Hung town, Dong Hung city (China) to maintain the first twinning model between wards and towns of Vietnam and China and promote foreign affairs and people-to-people diplomacy between the two localities, contributing to strengthening the solidarity and friendship of the people on both sides of the border to join hands in building a peaceful, friendly, cooperative and mutually developed border.

Planting friendship trees

On March 13, the delegation of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Lang Son and Cao Bang provinces attended the Vietnam - China youth tree planting activity in 2025 in Guangxi , China.

With the theme “Planting friendship trees together, joining hands to build the future”, youth from both countries participated in activities such as: Inauguration of friendship forest, group tree planting, visiting the Trade Center, Thai Binh ancient town… in Sung Ta city.

Delegation participates in the 2025 Vietnam - China youth tree planting and afforestation activity in Chongzuo city, China.

This is a practical activity to continue the tradition of friendship, cooperation and exchange between the two Parties, States, People and youth of the two countries. At the same time, it contributes to environmental protection, climate change response, natural disaster mitigation and attracts, gathers and unites the enthusiastic response and participation of many young people of Vietnam and China.
