On July 15, Hanoi City Police coordinated with Hanoi Customs Department to discover and inspect a shipment from France to Vietnam via Noi Bai International Airport suspected of containing drugs.

Authorities inspected and discovered 8 boxes containing 97.5 kg of synthetic drugs packed in vacuum-sealed bags disguised as wine bags.

Based on collected documents, Hanoi City Police in coordination with Hanoi Customs Department arrested THT (born in 1995) for illegally transporting drugs in Mo Lao ward, Ha Dong district (Hanoi).

Continuing to expand the investigation, Hanoi City Police coordinated with professional units to arrest two subjects TNA (born 1995) and NVT (born 1998) for illegally transporting drugs in Phu Xuyen district (Hanoi).

Hanoi City Police have decided to prosecute the case and prosecute the three suspects for the crime of illegal drug transportation.

Currently, the case is continuing to be investigated and handled according to regulations.
