In Lang Son province, Mr. Phan Van Hung, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Chairman of the Vietnam Seed Fund, leaders of Lang Son province, and the Department of Education and Training of Lang Son province presented meaningful scholarships to new students from difficult circumstances. In Cao Bang province, representatives of the Vietnam Seed Fund, leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Cao Bang province, and leaders of the Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) Lang Son Branch presented scholarships to students.

The students who received scholarships on this occasion all have difficult family circumstances but have overcome difficulties and made efforts to study well. Many of them have a total score of 27 points or higher in the three subjects for university entrance exams. Since its inception, the Viet Seed Fund has supported the construction of hundreds of gratitude houses, hundreds of savings books for families with meritorious services to the revolution, families affected by natural disasters, families in especially difficult circumstances; nearly 3,000 scholarships have been awarded to poor but studious students across the country.

More than 130 thousand poor households in Ha Giang receive policy credit loans

In the period of 2021-2025, the Social Policy Bank of Ha Giang province has lent 19 credit programs to poor households and policy households with more than 130,000 poor households and policy beneficiaries receiving loans, with loan turnover reaching more than 6,435 billion VND. Policy credit capital has helped more than 19,000 workers find jobs; 2,136 ethnic minority households have received loans to improve land, change occupations and develop production and business. More than 16,000 households have received loans to build clean water and environmental sanitation works, ensuring standards, contributing to improving the green and clean environment and protecting the health of rural communities.

Bac Giang province announces list of newly issued administrative procedures in the field of industrial parks and economic zones

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province has just issued Decision No. 349/QD-UBND announcing the list of newly issued administrative procedures in the field of industrial parks and economic zones under the scope and management functions of the Bac Giang Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board, including four procedures: Procedures for granting/re-granting certificates of ecological industrial parks; procedures for terminating and revoking certificates of ecological industrial parks; procedures for granting/re-granting certificates of ecological enterprises; procedures for terminating and revoking certificates of ecological enterprises. At the same time, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Head of the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board to develop and submit to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for approval of internal procedures for the above-mentioned administrative procedures.

Forest cover rate in Son La reaches 48%

Son La province currently has 669,797 hectares of forested forestry land, of which more than 593,268 hectares are natural forests and 76,528 hectares are planted forests; the forest coverage rate is 48%. Forest protection, fire prevention and fighting work is being implemented synchronously and drastically by Party committees, authorities at all levels, and functional forces. In 2024 alone, the forest rangers coordinated with local authorities to organize 1,147 propaganda sessions in communes and villages with 87,283 participants. At the same time, they coordinated with press and media agencies to develop and broadcast a column on forest protection and management, combined with mobile propaganda, billboards, posters, and propaganda via projectors in communes, villages, hamlets, and sub-regions, etc.
