Mr. Nguyen Duy Tan - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City - today (August 8) informed about the recruitment plan for the position of deputy director for departments in need of personnel.

Accordingly, the units expected to recruit 1 deputy director position include: Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Culture and Sports, Department of Finance, Department of Information and Communications, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Food Safety, Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs.

On August 15, the Department of Home Affairs will complete the recruitment plan to submit to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee for promulgation. In addition, the city will continue to expand the recruitment for department-level leadership positions.

The recruitment is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of this year. Ho Chi Minh City will summarize the results in January 2025.

Previously, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee held a conference to summarize the Pilot Project of Exams to recruit leaders and managers at the department level and equivalent in 2022. As a result, 7 units organized exams, 13 people passed the exam and were appointed.

Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee - Mr. Phan Van Mai affirmed that this pilot has had initial successes. The city will continue to expand the pilot exam to recruit leaders at the department, agency, and district levels in 2024 and in the following years.
