Similarly, 3,438 hectares of agricultural land in Thu Duc City by 2030 will... no longer exist.
Of the 18,023 hectares of agricultural land in the Southwest area of the City (Binh Chanh and Nha Be districts), by 2030 it will also decrease by more than 3,000 hectares, to only 15,000 hectares.
The Northwest area of the City (Cu Chi and Hoc Mon districts) will decrease from 33,378 hectares of agricultural land by 2030 by 13,378 hectares, to only 20,000 hectares of agricultural land.
In Can Gio district, from 45,402 hectares of agricultural land to 40,000 hectares of agricultural land by 2030 (a decrease of 5,402 hectares).
By 2030, Ho Chi Minh City will need to urbanize 27,191 hectares of agricultural land. |
Thus, by 2030, Ho Chi Minh City will have 27,191 hectares of agricultural land that will be urbanized. It is necessary to invest in technical infrastructure systems and rural roads to achieve the goal of rapid, effective and sustainable development in the direction of urban agriculture.
On that basis, the Management Board of Urban Infrastructure Construction Investment Projects of Ho Chi Minh City believes that it is necessary to immediately study the investment in technical infrastructure systems and rural roads to concretize the formation of rural urban areas.
The Ho Chi Minh City Urban Infrastructure Construction Investment Project Management Board has also proposed that the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assign this Board to coordinate with relevant departments and local authorities to carry out the above work.
