Recently, the Kera vegetable candy brand - a product heavily advertised by Miss Thuy Tien, Quang Linh Vlogs and Hang Du Muc - has been criticized by public opinion for false advertising.

After nearly 2 weeks of the incident causing a storm on social networks, on the afternoon of March 14, for the first time, Chi Em Rot Group Joint Stock Company will hold a press conference to provide information about the Kera vegetable candy product.

Kera vegetable candy is a product announced by Chi Em Rot Group Joint Stock Company (address 144-146-148, Street 11, Ward 5, An Phu Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City) and manufactured at Asia Life Joint Stock Company (address 18/99 Nguyen Van Linh, Ea Tu Commune, Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province).

Recently, there have been signs of advertisements violating food advertising regulations, causing public outrage. Quang Linh later apologized for the mistake, while Thuy Tien's apology was considered to be roundabout, causing many consumers to be outraged.

Hand, foot and mouth disease in Ho Chi Minh City continues to increase

The Ho Chi Minh City Center for Disease Control has just informed about the situation of dengue fever, hand, foot and mouth disease and measles in the city as of week 10 of 2025 (from March 28 to March 6).

During the week, the city also recorded 186 cases of hand, foot and mouth disease, an increase of 63.5% compared to the average of the previous 4 weeks.

The total number of hand, foot and mouth disease cases accumulated from the beginning of 2025 to week 10 is 1,294 cases. Districts with high number of cases per 100,000 people include District 8, District 6 and Binh Tan District.

During the week, 276 measles cases were recorded in the city, down 12.2% compared to the average of the previous 4 weeks. The total number of measles cases accumulated from the beginning of the epidemic to week 10 of 2025 is 7,601 cases. Districts with high number of cases up to week 10 of 2025 include Binh Chanh district, Binh Tan district and Thu Duc city.

According to the Center for Disease Control, hand, foot and mouth disease is transmitted through the digestive tract, through direct contact with sick people (shaking hands, hugging, kissing), contact with toys, clothes, household items, and surfaces containing the virus.

The disease can spread quickly, especially in collective environments such as kindergartens and schools. A small number of infected people can develop serious complications that affect the brain and brainstem, causing respiratory failure; affect the heart, causing myocarditis, heart failure, causing acute pulmonary edema... and even leading to death.

The Politburo's inspection delegation announced the draft inspection results in Bac Giang.
