Police are looking for a “hero” who saved people trapped in a series of accidents under Phu My Bridge on the afternoon of August 8.
On August 9, Thanh My Loi Ward Police (Thu Duc City) and the Traffic Police Department (PC08), Ho Chi Minh City Police issued a notice to find a "hero" who saved people trapped in a series of accidents under Phu My Bridge.
According to the police, after the accident, many passersby, regardless of the danger when the car was about to catch fire, bravely rushed to rescue the driver trapped in the crushed car. After helping to get the victim out, these heroes quietly left the scene.

In order to record information and promptly reward the brave act of saving people, Thanh My Loi Ward Police and Cat Lai Traffic Police Team under PC08 Department issued a notice to find people participating in the rescue.
As reported by SGGP, on the afternoon of August 8, driver D. (born in 1987, residing in Kien Giang province) was driving a truck with a Kien Giang license plate from District 7 to Thu Duc City (HCMC). While going down Phu My bridge, the truck lost its brakes and crashed into the median strip.
Not stopping, the truck continued to speed, hitting other vehicles moving ahead.








The incident caused two passenger cars and one truck to catch fire; four other vehicles were severely damaged. Some people trapped in the vehicles were taken out by local people and taken to the emergency room.
After the accident, many passersby bravely rescued the victims. Their actions were filmed by passersby, posted on social media and received much praise.
