
At the meeting, the representative of Yen Bai Provincial Post Office , comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong - Director of the Provincial Post Office reported to the Deputy Minister and the working delegation on the production and business plan targets in 2024. Accordingly, the assigned revenue in 2024: 197,386 billion VND, an increase of 24.8% compared to 2023; Labor productivity: 329.1 million VND/person/year, an increase of 22.3% compared to 2023; The difference between revenue and expenditure reached 33,222 billion VND, an increase of 19.2% compared to 2023.
Also in the report, in 2023, Yen Bai Provincial Post Office completed 100% of the targets for Public Postal Services. Implementing Decision No. 45/2016/QD-TTg on receiving dossiers and returning results of administrative procedure settlement via Public Postal Services, the Provincial Post Office has deployed at all Postal service points including 27 Post Offices and 146 Public Service Points. In 2023, 46,375 dossiers were received and returned, in the first 7 months of 2024, 26,618 dossiers were received and returned, equal to 123% compared to the same period in 2023. The number of service points supporting online public services is 116 points including 27 Post Offices and 86 Public Service Points.
Regarding the implementation of Decision No. 468/QD-TTg dated March 27, 2021 of the Prime Minister on implementing the mechanism of assigning public postal service providers to undertake a number of tasks in the process of guiding, receiving, digitizing records, and returning results of administrative procedure settlement, from 2023 to February 2024, the Provincial Post Office has performed administrative procedures to exchange 5,528 driver's license records issued by the Department of Transport, and issued criminal records for Vietnamese citizens and foreigners residing in Vietnam : 42 records (for the administrative procedure to issue criminal records from May 2023, paper records are not accepted, only online records are received on the public service portal).

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Bui Hoang Phuong highly appreciated the results achieved by Yen Bai Provincial Post Office, and at the same time requested the Provincial Post Office to continue to promote the unit's strengths in production and business activities, while clearly demonstrating the role of the Post Office in strongly implementing online public services to serve administrative reform, maximize the exploitation of postal services and promote digital transformation. The Deputy Minister emphasized: "Yen Bai Post Office needs to continue to promote its existing internal strength from the leadership level to staff and employees, think of more measures to improve the quality of services, service quality and customer care strategy; besides, pay attention to the lives and increase income for workers, create motivation and encourage workers to strive, determined to complete the goals and tasks of 2024".
