The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province said that the 11th Provincial Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term with the theme "Democracy - Solidarity - Innovation - Development" will take place on August 27 and 28, 2024 in Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province with the participation of 500 delegates, including 300 official delegates and 200 invited delegates.

Mr. Nguyen Phi Hung said that the title of the political report: "Promoting the core political role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, ensuring the people's mastery, strengthening the strength of the great national unity bloc, striving to build Quang Nam into a fairly developed province of the country by 2030". The Congress proposed 6 Action Programs and 3 key, breakthrough tasks for the 2024 - 2029 term.

Ms. Le Thi Nhu Thuy, Head of the Propaganda - Organization - Ethnicity - Religion Department, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, said that by March 31, 2024, the whole province had 241/241 communes, wards and towns that had completed the organization of the Commune-level Congress, a rate of 100%. The total number of members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the commune level for the 2024-2029 term is 7,889, ensuring a reasonable number and composition; the quality of members has been improved compared to the previous term.

By June 28, 2024, 18/18 districts, towns and cities had completed organizing the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at the district level, at a rate of 100%. The total number of members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the district level for the 2024-2029 term is 979, ensuring the quantity and composition according to regulations, focusing on practicality, typicality and representation.

Regarding the works to welcome the Congress, Ms. Le Thi Nhu Thuy said that the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee launched a competition and accepted 280 works and tasks to welcome the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels with a total cost of nearly 65.6 billion VND, of which the provincial level implemented the model "Green Garden - Beautiful House - Beautiful Alley" in Linh Cang village, Binh Phu commune, Thang Binh district with a total amount of 368 million VND and many other works.

Concluding the briefing, Mr. Nguyen Phi Hung hoped that press agencies would promote propaganda about events welcoming the 11th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term. In particular, press agencies would promote outstanding activities welcoming the Congress and projects welcoming the Congress.
