On August 7, at the National Assembly House, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh chaired a meeting with the Standing Committee of the Social Affairs Committee on receiving, explaining, and revising the draft Law on Trade Unions (amended) and the draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Pharmacy.
After listening to the reports of the Standing Committee, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh commented that, up to this point, the agency in charge of reviewing and the agency in charge of drafting have agreed on most of the contents, with only very few contents having different opinions. The Standing Committee of the National Assembly's Social Committee needs to continue to carefully review the relevant provisions and laws to ensure consistency and synchronization with the legal system.

Regarding the content of different opinions related to the regulations on medical oxygen in the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Pharmacy, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly agreed with the proposal of the Social Committee, not to regulate medical oxygen products in the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Pharmacy; requested the Government to soon promulgate or submit for promulgation under its authority legal documents on the management of medical oxygen and other gas products used in medicine...
Regarding the draft Trade Union Law (amended), the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly noted that in addition to the Trade Union Law, there is also the Trade Union Charter, so the Social Committee needs to coordinate with the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to carefully review which content should be included in the Trade Union Charter and which content should be included in the Trade Union Law, to avoid overlap and duplication of authority, and to facilitate the implementation process.
