Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Hoang Thanh Nhan, Editor-in-Chief of Banking Times, said that Banking Times published its first issue in 1990. After 34 years of development and growth, Banking Times has now affirmed its brand as a prestigious newspaper specializing in the fields of finance - currency and banking activities. Many articles on finance - currency in Banking Times have been used as reference materials by experts, quoted and republished by other newspapers.
In particular, the explosion of the internet and social networks has fundamentally changed the information reception trends of readers. Therefore, since 2012, the Editorial Board has published electronic publications and continuously updated new technologies, upgrading these publications to meet the needs of readers. In parallel, the Editorial Board has also deployed a variety of press products on modern technology platforms such as: Video, Podcast, Inforgraphic, Longform, Emagazine...

Banking Times has promoted the publication of media information on social media platforms and applied artificial intelligence in censorship, editing and creative production of digital content. With print newspapers, the editorial office also applies advances in science and technology to all stages of publishing.
According to the sharing of Editor-in-Chief of Banking Times, Ms. Norrinee Ruangnoo - President of the Thai Journalists Association, up to now, newspapers in Thailand have completely converted from print to online newspapers, even some press agencies no longer publish print newspapers. Even radio and television press agencies have to "transform" in response to this trend.

Staff at press agencies in Thailand must also actively practice and hone their skills to both write and apply technology in their work. To increase revenue, these agencies must take on the role of both press and media, event organizers, etc.
“However, digital transformation is a long-term process, requiring regular and continuous efforts from the editorial offices and we are also aware that we are only in the early stages and need to continue investing and innovating,” affirmed the Editor-in-Chief of Banking Times.
